RESUME SCORE

Get a Resume Readiness Score — and Understand It

Your Odds is EndLuck's resume readiness score. AI resume review highlights the strengths, gaps, and evidence in your resume so you can decide what to improve before applying.

Your readiness score is guidance based on resume quality and role alignment — not a prediction of whether an employer will hire you.

An AI review evaluates the submitted resume. Quick score updates can use local rules or an estimate after an AI rewrite. A projected score is not a fresh AI review; read the feedback and review the changes before applying.

What the score measures

Your readiness score reflects how clearly and relevantly your resume communicates your experience — not a universal grade, and not a prediction of what any specific employer will decide.

Role alignment

How closely your resume speaks to the role you're targeting, when one is provided.

Clarity

Whether a reader can quickly understand your contribution.

Evidence of impact

Whether your experience is backed by measurable outcomes.

Structure

Whether the most relevant information is easy to find.

Why your score changes by role

A resume that scores well for one role can score lower for another. That's not inconsistency — it's context. Readiness is measured relative to the role you're targeting, so the same resume can be a strong match for a Marketing Coordinator posting and a weaker match for a Senior Product Marketing Manager posting.

This is also why chasing a single universal number misses the point. A score is most useful as a comparison against a specific target — not as a fixed grade to optimize in isolation.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good resume score?

There is no universal passing number. A good score reflects a resume that clearly and relevantly communicates your experience for the role you're targeting. The specific feedback matters more than the number itself.

Is the score the same as an ATS score?

No. EndLuck has no access to any employer's actual applicant tracking system. The readiness score is EndLuck's own assessment of clarity, impact, and role alignment — not a simulation of a specific employer's ATS.

Does a high score guarantee an interview?

No. The score is a readiness signal based on resume quality and role alignment, not a prediction of hiring outcomes. Interviews depend on many factors a resume review cannot see.

Why can my score change for different jobs?

Readiness is evaluated relative to a specific role when you provide one. The same resume can be a strong match for one job description and a weaker match for another, because relevance depends on the target role.

How can I improve my score?

Focus on the specific gaps EndLuck flags rather than chasing the number itself. Improving clarity, adding measurable evidence, and aligning your resume to the target role typically has the biggest effect.
