Terms of Use
Effective date: August 30, 2026 · Last updated: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EndLuck.jobs and related websites, products, functionality, and services provided by EndLuck LLC (“EndLuck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an EndLuck account or use EndLuck’s account-based Services. By using the Services, you represent that you satisfy these requirements.
2. What EndLuck Provides
EndLuck provides career-preparation software, educational content, and related functionality. Depending on the features currently available, EndLuck may provide functionality involving:
- resume analysis;
- application-readiness feedback;
- identification of strengths;
- identification of areas for improvement;
- resume-writing suggestions;
- job-description alignment;
- career educational content;
- prioritized recommendations; and
- related career-preparation functionality.
Any feature marked “Coming Soon” is not currently available and should not be relied upon as part of the present Services.
3. EndLuck Is an Independent Career Platform
EndLuck is an independent career-preparation platform. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, EndLuck is not affiliated with an employer mentioned on the site, endorsed by employers whose roles may appear in examples, acting on behalf of a hiring company, an employment agency, an employer, or making hiring decisions for third parties. References to companies, job descriptions, or employers do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
4. No Employment Guarantee
EndLuck provides tools designed to help users prepare. EndLuck does not guarantee employer responses, interviews, advancement in an interview process, job offers, employment, promotions, increased compensation, or any other particular career outcome. Employer decisions depend on factors outside EndLuck’s control, including employer needs, competition, timing, interviewer judgment, internal candidates, organizational changes, and economic conditions.
5. Your Odds and Application Readiness
EndLuck may display an assessment known as Your Odds / Application Readiness. This is intended to help users understand signals visible in the information reviewed by EndLuck. It may help identify what appears strong, what may need improvement, and prioritized preparation actions.
Your Odds does NOT represent your mathematical probability of receiving an interview, a job offer, or being hired. It is not an industry-standard resume score, an employer’s internal evaluation, or a guarantee of any employment outcome. It should be interpreted as career-preparation feedback.
6. AI and Automated Outputs
Certain EndLuck functionality uses OpenAI and related automated technologies to process resume content and job descriptions and generate structured career feedback. Automated outputs may contain mistakes, incomplete information, inappropriate suggestions, incorrect interpretations, or outdated information.
You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on it, including before submitting a resume, submitting an application, communicating with an employer, or making career decisions. EndLuck does not represent that automated feedback is equivalent to advice from a recruiter, hiring manager, attorney, human-resources professional, or other professional adviser.
7. Your Account
Where an account is required, you are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, preventing unauthorized account access, and activity performed through your account. You must notify EndLuck if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not use another person’s account without authorization.
8. User Content
“User Content” includes resumes, job descriptions, career information, text, documents, profile information, and other material submitted through EndLuck.
You retain ownership of your original User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant EndLuck a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, analyze, format, and display that User Content as reasonably necessary to provide requested functionality, operate the Services, maintain features requested by you, protect the Services, diagnose technical issues, and comply with applicable legal obligations. This license does not transfer ownership of your resume or other original User Content to EndLuck.
9. Responsibility for Submitted Information
You represent that you have the right to submit User Content. You may not submit information that violates another person’s intellectual-property rights, unlawfully violates another person’s privacy, contains confidential information you are not authorized to disclose, or is submitted for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
You remain responsible for the truthfulness of information you provide to employers. You may not use EndLuck to knowingly fabricate employment history, education, licenses, certifications, skills, accomplishments, metrics, credentials, or qualifications.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use EndLuck to: violate applicable law; impersonate another person or organization; gain unauthorized access to systems; interfere with the operation or security of the Services; transmit malware or malicious code; bypass technical restrictions; perform abusive automated requests; scrape EndLuck at a scale that materially interferes with the Services; reverse engineer the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it; submit another person’s private information without permission; misuse AI or product outputs to facilitate unlawful discrimination; or engage in fraud or materially harm EndLuck, its users, or third parties.
11. EndLuck Intellectual Property
Except for User Content, EndLuck and its licensors retain ownership of the Services and associated intellectual property, including software, source code, interfaces, product designs, graphics, branding, logos, scoring presentation, original articles, guides, educational content, and design systems. The EndLuck name, branding, and associated design elements may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of EndLuck intellectual property to you.
12. Educational Content
Articles, guides, examples, methodologies, checklists, and similar EndLuck content are provided for informational and educational purposes. Career practices differ based on factors including employer, industry, profession, geography, experience level, and role. Descriptions of common practices should not be understood as universal requirements. Examples may be fictional, generalized, or simplified for educational purposes.
13. Third-Party Services and Information
EndLuck may reference or link to employers, job listings, company websites, third-party products, or external services. EndLuck does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, hiring decisions, content, accuracy, privacy practices, security, pricing, or terms. Users should evaluate third-party services independently.
14. Paid Services
EndLuck Pro may be purchased for a one-time fee that provides access to specified Pro functionality for 30 days. Pro does not automatically renew. After the access period ends, the user may purchase another access period if offered.
The price and scope of access are displayed before payment is completed. Payments are processed through Stripe.
A full refund, if processed, will result in revocation of the associated Pro access. Refund eligibility, if any, is subject to applicable law and EndLuck’s refund policy or terms presented at purchase.
15. Changes to the Services
EndLuck is an evolving product. EndLuck may introduce features, modify features, remove functionality, change technical requirements, adjust usage limits, or discontinue functionality. EndLuck does not guarantee that every free or paid feature will remain available indefinitely. Where reasonably appropriate, EndLuck may provide notice of material changes affecting paid functionality.
16. Suspension and Termination
Users may stop using EndLuck at any time. EndLuck may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, protect system security, investigate fraud, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, address nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, EndLuck may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. EndLuck does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that every analysis will be accurate, that every recommendation will be appropriate, that employers will agree with EndLuck’s assessment, or that use of EndLuck will improve employment outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EndLuck and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the Services. This may include losses relating to employment opportunities, employer decisions, lost income, reliance on automated outputs, lost data, interrupted service, or career decisions based on information provided by EndLuck.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EndLuck’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount the user paid EndLuck during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) $100. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations; where applicable law prohibits part of this section, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EndLuck and its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material violation of these Terms, User Content you did not have the right to provide, or your violation of another person’s legal rights.
20. Changes to These Terms
EndLuck may update these Terms as the Services evolve. When changes are material, EndLuck will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date unless applicable law permits otherwise.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the maximum extent permitted by law.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented for a specific EndLuck paid or specialized Service constitute the applicable agreement governing use of those Services.
23. Contact
